Don't Mess Around

Please pray for Joe (not his real name), a seventy one year old man that is bound to a wheel chair. I met him a few weeks ago, Joe has a testimony of Christ saving him and when we meet we usually spend a few hours talking about the Lord. I checked about getting Joe in an apartment complex here in Clinton and they said that their are only a few on the waiting list before Joe. If Joe can git into these apartments then he would be able to attend church on a regular basis. Please pray that the Lord would work this out if it be His will. Joe does not need to be living on the streets, he is not in the best of health, on top of being in a wheel chair.

Some of you may remember reading about Renee, she is a grandma living on the streets bound in the prison of alcohol! She is always drunk, every time she sees me she asks me for some chicken! she has a nice personality but she is a drunk. I made a deal with her yesterday that if she was sober I would buy her some chicken! She said she would be sober today, we'll see. I will be shure to give an update about her later. It breaks my heart to see those like Renne and Joe, one is bound to sin, the other is bound to the consequences of his sin. Joe told me how he became bound to a wheel chair. He said that when he was married and lost, (about thirty years ago) he "ran around" on his wife. His wife caught him and shot him in the neck! This left him paralyzed for a while but now I think he can move a little. I told Joe that it sounded like she was aiming for his head and missed! He laughed and so did I, but he said that he deserved it!
