Let me tell you about Joseph. Joseph is about thirty eight years old. He has previously lived in Florida and has been in Knoxville for about a year now. He has been staying here at the shelter and he has been attending church faithfully for about a year! He has a testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ saving his soul and friday night after I preached he came to rededicate his life to Christ! Praise the Lord for that! Joseph has a strong desire to get his CDL so he can drive a truck. He thinks that this is the Lords will for him and hopes that some how he may even be able to minister to others of Christ through driving a truck. What a refreshing time it was to spend some time in conversation with Joseph. He truly seems commited to doing the Lords will, and he has proven this by his faithful attendance to the Lords house. Joseph chooses not to sit on the streets or in the day room during the day like so many others, he spends most of his time at the library down town. Joseph needs some important identification papers to seek fulltime employment. Please pray for the Lords will in his life. Again, what a blessing it was to see Joseph broken hearted about sin in his life, broken over how it hurts the Lord. May we all have this sincerity in serving Christ.
