Oh Lord Jesus, Help us!

Please pray for God's power on me on the streets. I can do nothing without Him! Christ must tell me what to say, Christ must tell me where to go, Christ must tell me when to do it! Without His leading and His power, I am Nothing! I am so prone to going my way and not His way! I peddle with "petty" sins that hinder the fellowship between me and Him! How foolish! How selfish! Not knowing that the hindrance of these sins may very well damn souls! God have mercy! Oh! that all of us Christians would realize this! Our sins! Our sins! Our sins! Hinder the view of a Resurrected Christ living in us! Our sins bring us pleasure, yes they do! But what does the enjoyment of our sins bring to others? The only Christ they may ever see is the Christ living in us and when our lives become shaded and our light placed under a "bushel" what can they see? A mere man, just as they! They have No hope without Christ! NO HOPE! What are we busy doing? Playing? And then the meager efforts we do put forth are they not efforts based upon OUR abilities and not the sufficiency of Christ? Have we no Faith? Can we not see afar off? Can we not see what is to come? JUDGEMENT! JUDGEMENT! When we enjoy our pleasures and neglect the souls of our neighbors, who are we offending? God? Yes, God! What are His thoughts upon us as we toughtlessly live our lives half heartily in His service? What pleasure the adversary must receive! Defeated believers, not capable of God's full service! Why are we not capable? Because of Sin! Oh, yes, we serve, but not in God's power! How will this "power" come? From School? Lectures? Programs? Money? No! Then how? By Old fashioned, self denying, pleasure and sin forsaking, seeking God with our whole heart, PRAYER! That's the ONLY way! I MUST PRAY.
